A European bittering hop of Galena heredity developed in 1980. This hop has a pleasant aroma character with clean bittering properties. Magnum has an excellent tolerance to disease, making it a popular choice for hop farmers.
Pedigree: Bred at the Hop Research Institute in Hull, a cross between Galena and a German male.
